Voice for Justice is a non-profit organization registered in the Netherlands.
Joseph Janssen, founder of Voice for Justice, was born in Pakistan and raised as a Christian in a society marked by deep-seated religious divisions. From an early age, he endured the harsh realities of hunger, discrimination, and persecution.
Joseph’s experiences with poverty and the barriers to education provided him with a firsthand understanding of the hardships of life. He faced discrimination when seeking employment or striving for advancement, often silenced for his faith and witness to arrests, violence, and detainment of those who dared to hold differing beliefs.
His journey for justice began in earnest when his own sister and brother-in-law were imprisoned under blasphemy charges. What followed was a long, arduous fight spanning over eight years as he tirelessly advocated for their release and pleaded for justice on their behalf.
Throughout his years working in the field of religious freedom, Joseph has been honored to speak at prominent events hosted by the United Nations, the European Union, the U.S. Department of State’s Ministerial, the Italian Senate, the Dutch Parliament, and the United Kingdom’s House of Lords. He has also successfully collaborated on numerous events and projects with nonprofit organizations worldwide, building impactful partnerships to further the cause of religious freedom.
Now a European citizen, Joseph continues his mission, traveling across borders to raise awareness and seek justice for the marginalized and persecuted, driven by a commitment to a world where human dignity and religious freedom are upheld for all, regardless of faith or background.
